As the Landscape Construction Foreperson, you will lead a team of 3-5 staff, overseeing the installation of Hardscape, Softscape, Carpentry, and Machine work. You’ll receive support from experienced leaders for training and development, with the opportunity to become an apprentice and get Red Seal certified in Landscape Horticulture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team to ensure timely, efficient landscape installations.
- Collaborate with managers and clients for project execution and issue resolution.
- Oversee daily production, materials procurement, and staff safety.
- Manage projects worth up to $1.5 million, ensuring budgets and deadlines are met.
- Maintain communication with clients and team members, ensuring project goals are achieved.
- Participate in post-project reviews for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in landscaping project management or 5+ years as a landscaping foreperson.
- Relevant certifications (Red Seal Horticulture, Carpentry, PMP, etc.).
- Experience managing projects in the $20,000 – $1,000,000 range.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Salary: $33.50 – $43.50 per hour (based on experience)

- Assist the Landscape Construction Foreperson in managing safety, quality and productivity of work at sites and/ or shop/yard

- Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, cut off saws, tampers, jackhammers, excavators, skid steers, track loaders and power tools

As a Maintenance Foreperson, you will lead day-to-day landscape maintenance operations and supervise Maintenance Lead Hands and Maintenance Assistants to ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to company standards.
Key Requirements:
- Lead and supervise maintenance crews of 2–4 employees across assigned sites
- Plan, organize, and execute daily maintenance activities to meet schedules, budgets, and quality expectations
- Work on site with crews while providing mentorship, training, and ongoing support
- Ensure compliance with company and provincial safety policies, including completion of daily FLHAs and vehicle inspections
- Monitor productivity, quality, and crew performance; address issues and escalate to management or HR when required
- Review and submit crew timesheets and required documentation daily
- Maintain professional client relationships and address on-site concerns as needed
- Identify and communicate property improvement or sales opportunities to estimators
- Enforce safe work practices and protect the company from unsafe, inefficient, or non-compliant activities
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as a Landscaping Maintenance Foreperson or 5+ years as a Landscaping Maintenance Lead Hand
- Completion of, or active pursuit of, or willingness to pursue, Red Seal Certification as a Landscape Horticulturist or equivalent
- Proven ability to lead, supervise, and mentor maintenance crews

Maintenance Assistants work closely with the Foreperson and Lead Hand to ensure maintenance contracts are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
Key Requirements:
- Perform lawn care duties including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing debris, fertilizing, and watering turf areas
- Assist with planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and bulbs
- Weed, prune, and trim trees, shrubs, and plants
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely and efficiently
- Operate power equipment including lawn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning tools, aerators, power rakes, and sod cutters
- Move, load, and transport materials using wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, shovels, and manual lifting
- Assist with job site setup, organization, and cleanup to maintain a safe and professional work environment
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete maintenance service contracts
- Support the Foreperson and Lead Hand with daily job-related tasks
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Communicate politely and professionally with clients or site contacts as required
- Perform other related duties as needed to support maintenance operations
Qualifications:
